We’ll organise meetings with you around 6/12 months after each meeting. When we meet we’ll talk about what’s happening in your life and finances now, and where you want to be in the future. We’ll think about your income needs, tax minimisation, retirement plans, estate planning and any major changes to your circumstances. We’ll review your investment portfolio and answer any questions you have about your finances.
We provide advice on topics including tax planning and minimisation, retirement planning including superannuation and self-managed super funds (SMSF’s), asset protection and structuring, and estate planning. Our advice is informed by best practice and delivered by qualified professionals.
“Every 6 months we meet to review where things are at and what should change, but that’s not all they do. If there’s something I need to know about, I’ll get an email, and if I have a question I will contact them.”
We’re passionate about investing for you, and not for our own interests. You will know at all times what is happening with your investment portfolio and we’ll always explain the reasons for our recommendations. We adjust our advice to match your personal preferences and financial aspirations— ensuring your tolerance for loss is balanced against your desire for improved returns. After all, it’s your money.
The one certainty in life is change. We’ll ensure that your investments can respond to changes and opportunities in the market. We’ll recommend what’s appropriate and this may include: direct share investments, property, funds, fixed interest securities and cash. We can easily incorporate any existing shares and investments into your portfolio.
In the end, it’s up to you which of our recommendations to accept. With Ballingers, you are in control of your investments, every step of the way.
We only take on a handful of new clients each year because we think the most important part of our work is looking after our existing clients. That’s why people stay with us, year after year.
“Steve’s more active than our previous advisers in finding out what’s going on in the business world, and that shows.”
