Sophie joined the Ballinger’s Financial Planning team in 2024 as a Paraplanner. In December 2023, Sophie completed a Bachelor of Commerce & Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University, majoring in Finance and Chemistry respectively.

Whilst studying, Sophie worked at a financial management firm in Canberra as a Client Service Officer before transitioning to the firm’s SMSF Administrator role, building a strong foundation for a paraplanning career.

Sophie’s passion lies in providing individuals with considered financial advice with the knowledge and understanding of the client’s goals and aspirations.

Sophie wishes to create awareness around the prevalent issue of financial illiteracy in Australia and advocate for financial education within schools and into adulthood.

On weekends, you will find Sophie exploring new cafes and restaurants, reading, or taking full advantage of living by the ocean for the first time in her life!
